Therapy for High Achievers
ONLINE & IN PERTH, SCOTLAND
Does this sound like you?
You have always been strong and capable. You hold yourself up to such high standards and care about how others perceive you. You can be self-critical and rarely give yourself a break. You have dreams for the future but feel like you're holding yourself back.
Life has been tough for you lately. You’re pretty self-aware and have realised that some painful stuff from the past is still impacting you now. You’re ready to invest in yourself and do the work.

Hello, I'm Lee
I am a UK BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist. I work from a bright, open Therapy Studio on George St, Perth. I also work internationally via Zoom.
I work with high-achievers who want to start enjoying life. I specialise in burnout, perfectionism, stress-related depression and how childhood trauma and conditioning holds us back in adulthood.
Book a Taster Session
Important : My online therapy slots are now full, I have a few spaces left for in-person therapy.
This is an opportunity to meet with me, to discuss how I can help you and whether we'd be a good fit for working together.
This is a complimentary, 20 minute Zoom session. It is applicable for both in-person and online clients.
See FAQs for in person Taster options.
My Credentials
I'm a BACP registered person-centred psychotherapist which means that I aim to be open, genuine and to understand how you experience the world.
My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth and non-judgemental. I believe that we all have the potential to be our best self, but we sometimes lose connection with who we are.
After 15 years in a corporate career I followed my heart into therapy. I have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy and have run my own private practice since 2019. Prior to this I worked as a Student Counsellor at the University of Dundee. My most recent professional development includes:
- The Rewind Technique for PTSD
- Resilience and the Inner Critic
- Solution-Focussed Brief Therapy
- Working with complex trauma and dissociation
- Facilitating Post Traumatic Growth
- Creative Strategies for Depression and Anxiety

How Therapy Works
Fee per 50 minutes session:
Online International (Zoom) - £85
In Person (Perth) - £75
Therapy is first and foremost a relationship. My focus is on creating a confidential space where you feel like you can be yourself, say what you need to and feel heard. I do not give advice, but work alongside you to find solutions. I do share psychoeducation and resources and may use creative strategies to help you explore.
I have a flexible approach to therapy and believe that you should be in control of when and how regularly you want to attend. Sessions can be self-amended online up to 24 hours before.
Work/life balance is important to me and I am available for sessions for 42 weeks in the year as I take 10 weeks for personal development, self-care and family time. Please check that you are comfortable with this before working with me.
See FAQ's for more info on my availability.
